The City Church

I listened to this message on Sunday and it spoke so much to me. I stood at the end for prayer when Pastor asked if we needed prayer. I have had a more victorious week than I have ever had. I believe that it has been because of the prayer and Word of God.
I praise God for His faithfullness to me!!

I have been so encouraged. I receive the pray the pastor prayed for me. I am telling others to to the web site and listen to this message. It is so timely. The pastor has read our mail. The Holy Spirit is teaching us, encouraging us, and instructing us thought the pastors message. Thank you pastor for your faithfullness in the calling God has on your life. I am forever blessed.

Thanks, Pastor Wendell, for this timely, holy-spirit filled wake-up call! As a Christian and a minister, I still often find myself meditating on what’s wrong with me rather than who He’s made me – who I am in Christ. It is only by focusing on the Christ in me that I can be an overcomer – the only way I can be perfected – the only way I can be a conquerer just as Christ is.

I praise God for you, Pastor Gini and the ministry of what I call “the friendly mega-church”, City Church.

My favourite part was at the end when he talks about Jesus praying for Peter because Satan had asked to sift him. This makes me think Satan was threatened by what God was going to do through Peter. Puts a new perspective on the enemy, you know?
