Site Credits
The current version of The City Church website was launched in May of 2006. In addition to an entirely new design, the site features standards-compliant markup, and renders more accurately across multiple platforms and browser versions. (We recommend you use Firefox to browse the web.) Many thanks go to Jesse Bennett-Chamberlain of 31Three for the overall design.
The Technology
This site is powered by ExpressionEngine, a powerful and flexible CMS solution. (For more on ExpressionEngine, read this introduction.) The site is hosted on an Enterprise VDS by Myriad Network. It was built using the following tools:
- Apple Computers
- Adobe Illustrator (for layout comping)
- Adobe Photoshop (for graphics and polishing)
- TextMate (for coding and development)
- CSSEdit (for tweaking stylesheets and testing)
- Transmit (for file transfer)
